A beautiful garden in the city. My first time in Vienna was magical, the atmosphere and the energy was incredible, thanks also to the Christmas feeling and the beautiful hotel that welcomed me.

I chose to stay at the Stadthalle boutique hotel, a charming place in the city center that is guided by a green philosophy: they use solar panels to supply the entire hotel with renewable energy and the water from their well to tend the garden and lavender roof, which is Vienna’s largest lavender field.

Because staying at Stadthalle hotel means relaxing away from the bustle of the city, where birds chirp in the garden in a surprising oasis of calm and green.

The breakfast was also delicious, they offer a wide selection with gluten free options and fresh ingredients.

Vienna was simply magical, the Christmas time lights up the city, markets all around, visiting the Schönbrunn museum to discover more about the history, or just stroll around while listening to Beethoven and Mozart played on the streets.

The city is full of life and high-end shops, and you can’t leave without enjoying a slice of the delicious Sachertorte.

It was a beautiful trip and I can’t wait to be back, maybe in spring for the flower and lavender season!
